This is not a government website. The editorial team of PM Kisan Status IN is not part of PM-KISAN or of any government body. The real portal is pmkisan.gov.in. That link opens in a new window.
Who writes the pages
Aarav Aditiya is the writer of PM Kisan Status IN and is responsible for what the pages say. The name and the photograph are published with the writer’s agreement, and nothing more is published about the writer: no address, no date of birth and no qualification is claimed on this page. Software tools, including AI-based writing tools, may help to draft text, as the Editorial Policy explains. The writer remains the person who answers for each page. The roles and the sources described on this page date from 29 October 2026; on 5 November 2026 the writer was named.
The reviewer is not yet named. We will not invent a name, a photograph or a qualification. The reviewer will be named when confirmed. Until then this page tells you what each role does and what is checked before a page goes live.
The roles
| Role | What the person does | What the person checks |
|---|---|---|
| Writer | Reads the sources and writes the page in plain words | Every fact against the portal, the Operational Guidelines, the FAQ, the e-KYC note or a PIB release; that our own advice is labelled as advice |
| Reviewer | Reads the finished page as a second person, against the same sources | Facts, dates, names of buttons and pages, safe wording, and that nothing sounds like a government notice |
How a page is made
- The writer collects the facts from the sources. Facts come from the portal, the scheme documents and PIB releases (from the Press Information Bureau) only.
- The writer drafts the page and marks what comes from which source.
- The reviewer checks the page against the sources and sends back anything that is not supported.
- The page is published with a last-checked date.
- When PIB or the portal confirms a new event, the dated pages are updated and the change is written in the log on Corrections and Updates.
What every page shows
- A last-checked date.
- The sources used, in words.
- A clear line that the site is independent and is not the government.
- A link to our Editorial Policy and a way to report a mistake.
What the roles do not do
The writer and the reviewer do not look up anybody’s PM-KISAN record, do not change records, and do not ask readers for Aadhaar numbers, OTPs or bank details. They do not speak for the Government of India or for PM-KISAN.
