This is not a government website. PM Kisan Status IN is an independent information site. It is not part of PM-KISAN. The portal of the scheme is pmkisan.gov.in, and that link opens in a new window. When you go there, you leave our site and the portal’s own rules apply.
The short version
- This site has no user accounts, no forms that send data to us, no comments, no registration, no payments and no apps.
- We do not collect personal data on our own servers.
- We never ask for your Aadhaar number, OTP, bank detail, registration number or password.
- Google Analytics counts visits and the pages that are read. It runs on every page and keeps two cookies, _ga and _ga_SXL8SL59M8, in your browser. We see only totals, not named people.
- Apart from those cookies, the site stores nothing in your browser unless you use the language button, which then saves your language choice with localStorage.
- Roman Hindi is made inside your browser. Other languages are translated by Google Translate, which is loaded only after you choose such a language and agree to a notice. Google then receives the text of the page.
- Search on this site runs inside your browser. What you type is not sent anywhere.
- Ads are switched off at present. We will update this page before they are switched on.
Who is responsible
PM Kisan Status IN is run by its owner and editor. You can reach us at [email protected], in English or in Hindi. This policy covers this website only. It does not cover the portal, the PMKISAN GoI app, PIB or any other site.
What we do not collect
We do not ask you to create an account or to fill in a form. There is no place on this site to type your name, your phone number, your Aadhaar number, your bank details or your registration number. Our pages cannot see your PM-KISAN record, your status or your payments. If a page that looks like ours asks you for any of these, it is not our page. Please do not reply, and tell us at [email protected].
What happens in your browser
Your consent choice
Today the site has no consent box. Ads are off, and Google Analytics counts visits without asking; the next section says what it does, and the Cookie Policy shows how to stop it. If ads are switched on in future, or if the law or Google’s rules ask for a consent choice for Google Analytics, the site will ask first, and your answer will be stored in your browser using localStorage. That choice would stay on your device. We would not receive it, and it would not identify you. It would be kept until you clear this site’s data in your browser.
Counting visits with Google Analytics
Since 5 November 2026 every page loads the Google Analytics script from Google’s servers. Your browser then contacts Google and sends it the page you opened, the time, your browser and device type, the address you came from and your network address, as any website you visit would receive them. Google Analytics keeps the cookies _ga and _ga_SXL8SL59M8 in your browser to tell one visit from another. We use the reports to learn which guides are read, which devices are used and roughly from which regions, so that we can fix what is hard to find. The reports show totals for groups of visitors. We do not see who you are, we do not use the data to show ads, and we do not join it with anything else, because this site collects nothing else about you. Google processes the data under its own policies. If you do not want to be counted, block cookies or the script in your browser, or use the opt-out add-on that Google offers for Google Analytics. We do not link to those pages, because the only address we link to from this site is the portal.
The language button
The round button at the bottom right of every page lets you read the site in another language. Hindi is the original and stores nothing. Roman Hindi is made inside your browser, and nothing is sent anywhere. For the other languages, the page is translated by Google Translate. We load its script only after you choose such a language and agree to a short notice. Google then receives the text of the page and your network address, as any website you visit does, and it may set cookies of its own. We do not receive the translated text or your choice, apart from the cookie that your browser sends with each page request. Your language choice and your agreement are kept in your browser (localStorage), and a cookie called googtrans is set for this site. We do not read or use it. To stop, choose Hindi in the same list. The Cookie Policy lists each item.
Search on this site
The search box works from a list of page titles that is loaded with the page. The matching happens inside your browser. The words you type are not sent to us or to anyone else.
Technical records of the hosting service
Whoever delivers the files of any website usually keeps ordinary technical records, such as the time of a request and the network address it came from. Our hosting service may do this under its own policy. We do not ask for these records to find out who you are, and we do not use them to build a profile of visitors.
Messages you send us
If you write to us, we receive your email address and whatever you put in your message. We use it to reply, to check a reported mistake, and to note the change in our log. We do not sell it, rent it or use it for marketing. We keep a message only as long as we need it for those purposes. A correction in our public log does not carry your name.

When ads are switched on, they will load only after your consent where the law or Google’s rules require it. We will update this page and the Cookie Policy before that day. Google explains on its own pages how it uses information from sites that use its services, and its ad settings let you control personalised ads. We do not link to those pages, because the only address we link to from this site is the portal.
Ads and your choices
If Google AdSense is switched on later, Google and its partners may use cookies or similar technologies to show ads, limit how often you see one, and measure results. You can use your browser settings to delete or block cookies. You can also use the ad settings of your Google account.
Children
Our pages are written for farmers and their families. We do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone, including children. We have no accounts or forms through which a child could give us data.
India’s data protection law
India’s Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 is a law about how digital personal data is handled. This site has no accounts or forms and does not ask for personal data such as a name, number or address. Google Analytics counts visits with a random cookie identifier, and we see only totals from it. If you think we hold something about you, write to [email protected], and we will check and remove it. This page is not legal advice, and it does not claim that the site meets every legal duty.
How long we keep information
We hold no personal data in accounts or databases, so there is nothing to keep or delete there. Google keeps the Google Analytics data for the period set in our Google Analytics account (Google offers 2 or 14 months for a standard account). The Google Analytics cookies stay in your browser until they expire or you clear them. A language choice or a consent choice saved in your browser stays there until you choose Hindi again or clear it. Emails are kept only as described above.
Security
We reduce risk by not collecting data. Our advice (हमारी सलाह): never type your Aadhaar number, OTP, bank details or registration number on any website except pmkisan.gov.in, and never share an OTP with anyone who calls you.
Changes to this policy
We will put the date of any change at the top of this page and record it in Corrections and Updates. If we plan to switch on ads or add any other measurement tool, we will change this policy and the Cookie Policy first.
